Arcadia Reptile Halogen Basking Spots feature an integrated metal reflector for optimal distribution of light and heat across the basking area. Powerful and robust, they are best used with a suitable dimming thermostat to maintain a stable and appropriate temperature.

These high-quality basking lamps feature a built-in reflector and thicker glass construction. As a result, they can last approximately 2.5 to 3 times longer than conventional basking lamps while producing more effective heat.

For optimal temperature control and reduced energy consumption, combine this lamp with a suitable HabiStat Dimming Thermostat. For many reptile species, it is also recommended to combine the basking lamp with an appropriate UV-B lighting system.
