Discover a true tropical rainforest display, fully planted and handcrafted by JungleBox. This 30 × 30 × 60 cm vertical terrarium is inspired by the humid Malaysian forest understory, featuring rare and graphic tropical plants selected to create a dense, natural and long-lasting environment.

With its 60 cm height, this model offers an impressive planted volume as well as numerous opportunities for climbing supports, elevated resting areas and natural perches. It is particularly suitable for arboreal species requiring a compact yet vertical terrarium.

Selection of Malaysian tropical plants

The plant selection is designed to provide varied textures, depth and levels of vegetation throughout the terrarium:

• Rhaphidophora elliptica
• Selaginella obtusa
• Malaysian moss
• Rhaphidophora korthalsii
• Begonia kingiana

These plants are selected for their tropical appearance, their suitability for a warm and humid environment, and their value in a natural vertical display. Depending on season and availability, some plants or mosses may be replaced with equivalent quality species.

A living vertical planted display

The 60 cm height allows the climbing plants to develop naturally while creating a deeper and more realistic layout. The Rhaphidophora species establish on vertical supports, while Selaginella, Begonia and Malaysian moss create dense vegetation across the substrate and in the most humid areas.

The JungleBox substrate encourages healthy rooting and helps maintain suitable moisture for the plants. With appropriate ventilation, lighting and misting, the layout gradually develops into a lush living tropical jungle.

Each terrarium is individually created by hand in our greenhouse using natural materials and carefully selected plants. Plant positioning, branches, roots and mosses are arranged individually, making every JungleBox terrarium a unique creation.
