Origin

Characteristics

Peperomia tricolor is mainly grown for its highly ornamental foliage. Its leaves display strong color variation combining green, cream, and sometimes pink to reddish tones depending on light exposure and plant form. The plant has thick, slightly succulent stems and leaves, allowing it to store water and tolerate short dry periods.

Cultivation

It prefers bright indirect light, high humidity, and a very well-draining substrate. Overwatering is the main risk, as its roots are sensitive to excess moisture. It performs well in indoor conditions or tropical terrarium setups with stable warmth and humidity.
